ViaJocs is a multimedia system designed to be installed in the children’s area of ​​hospitals. This platform makes available to hospitalized children a series of multimedia applications such as games and educational tools. It has a simple and intuitive user interface and a protected desktop with parental control for ages, so that parents can rest easy while their child is having fun. The ViaJocs system can be customized according to the child’s age so that games designed for the older ones are not accessible to the younger ones. The contents are displayed in FullHD resolution, which allows a gaming experience comparable to that of a state-of-the-art console. It is also compatible with a wide variety of controls: wireless keyboards, pointers (Wireless Air Mouse) and Gamepads.
